The Embassy of Italy in Colombo is launching a selection process to hire one Driver-Clerk-Receptionist. Interested candidates must submit their applications to ambcolombo.concorsi@esteri.it no later than 23:59 on 20 December 2025. Alternatively, applications may be hand-delivered in a sealed envelope addressed to: “Ambasciata d’Italia – Ufficio Concorsi”.
The application must be originally signed, scanned, and include the following information:
a) full name, date of birth, place of birth, place of residence;
b) postal address and e-mail address for any correspondence;
c) statement of good physical health;
d) citizenship(s) held;
e) length of residence in Sri Lanka;
f) any criminal convictions or pending criminal proceedings in Italy or abroad;
g) compliance with military service obligations;
h) possession of an elementary school certificate or equivalent;
i) possession of a valid driving licence.
A copy of a valid identity document must be attached to the application.
For the purpose of awarding additional points, applicants may also declare:
• higher academic qualifications, with supporting documentation;
• previous equivalent work experience, with appropriate certification and indication of the reason for termination.
