The number is active during the following hours when the Embassy offices are closed:
– Monday to Thursday from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM
– Friday from 3:30 PM to 10:00 PM
– Saturday, Sunday, and holidays from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM
In case of emergencies between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM, you can contact the Crisis Unit of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation at +39 06 36225.
Please note that improper use of the emergency phone is regulated by Article 658 of the Italian Penal Code.
